Our agenda includes working on plans for the May 10-11 DFA Training and having a lively discussion about the Super Tuesday results. Please join us! Free DFA buttons for all who attend! -- Lynn Worpenberg Co-Chair, Democracy for Cincinnati 513-604-9210

Crap, my post is sliding down the line again??
Thanks for the link, Paine.
Arkansas-Hillary.
Obama looking good in MN
Looks like, Charles ~~ sorry about that. HQ fixed the blog in January, though, so don't worry. . . .
This isn't looking good for mark Pera in IL.
Precincts Reported: 176 of 618Dan Lipinski15799 (53%)Mark Pera6877 (23%)Jim Capparelli4041 (13%)Jerry Bennett2828 (9%)
Obama looking good in ND, too
Montana vote for Repugs tonite and Dems in June.
Based on review of exits it looks like Hillary is holding her own by dominating old white people. If Obama does not win (which I hope he will in the long run) there will be a lot of disapointed young people with old Clinton machine.

Bad Exits?
I'm told that in one newsroom, "there were four sets of exits on Massachusetts, two showing Obama ahead and two showing Clinton ahead."
Hmmm. Even more caution than usual, folks, even more caution than usual.

HORSERACE
Big Deviations From Early Exit Poll Numbers?
A reader notes that the early exit poll numbers had Romney winning Delaware, by a considerable margin, and it's being called for McCain, and asks, does this mean all the exits are no good?
Short answer is, I don't know. I don't know if the samples were too small, or if the exit pollsters haven't had to pay attention to Delaware in so long that they take their samples from the right areas. This is why I suggest a certain level of caution and skepticism when I post them.
So sad for Mark Pera. Lipinski's office is in mom's (my old) neighborhood. He has the senior citizens under his thumb but mom talked up Pera at the Senior Center yesterday. But she took a ride to the polls (and the grocery store) today from a Lipinski worker - LMAO
This week has brought back so many vivid memories of 40 years ago.RFK in Columbus, NE inspiring a generation from the back of a train. Three High School sophomores going to Omaha in my 37 Chevy to see Uncle Jerrry and Phil, and the band play for free. It took a couple days to get home from that, but, in a larger sense, one never does quite come home from a Grateful Dead Concert.
NextPres. Obama coming to Nebraska Thursday. We roll out our bright shiny new caucuses Saturday. Just got call from DNC asking for renewal. Will send after convention, regardless of winner, just because the chairman is one of my favorite people. Asked DNC to send lawyers, guns, and money our way, along w/ a barrel of blue paint.

Well, I think Barack is having a good night. I don't think he'll take CA or AZ. But he is winning a lot of states that he wasn't supposed to!

On delegates, Obama will have a good night. Because he will come close to clinton, after being behind so far just a month ago.
But what states is he winning that weren't predicted? It seems pretty predictable so far. Clinton won NJ.
Strong lead for Obama in Idaho
32. mary vb I'm a glass half empty I guess - disappointed in MA and MO in particular. Those funky caucuses look good tho. I'm still hoping for CA gotta admit.
If you looked at the polls 7 days ago it is incredible how much ground Obama has picked up in only seven days. It will be pretty close to a split tonight, this is good for Obama:
- - Obama has a lot more money
- - The states now come slower and the more time Obama has the better he does

LOL. Yeah, Pera was one of two hopes to unseat a DINO incumbent. He was a good candidate, but the machine might be too good (and corrupt) there. Looking for Donna Edwards to win in MD next week.
26. Yea! Idaho! You know one thing they were talking about on CSPAN how people favored Paul, no maybe Huckabee, no maybe Obama, which on the face of it sounds like they haven't really studied -- but maybe it's something else -- that they want just something different, anything different. Is it a libertarian bent maybe? I must say Huckabee and Paul -- from a persona point of view -- appeal to me.
We are all in it together - with all those candidates no longer in the race and remaining.
Dean up SOON on MSNBC
9:42 pm EST
Dean on fire on MSNBC. He's on fire. YEAAYYY!
Media is very positive on Clinton....makes me worried about exit polls in California that have not been released.
In Missouri no numbers from St, Louis City which Obama will take 70%.
Thanks for the heads up Paine about Howard - he looked relaxed.
I think Barack will win the following (some already called for him)
IL, GA, AL, MN, DE, ID, UT, KS, CT, MN and UT
I'm not feeling confident about the West per the pundits. If she's getting 61% of the Latino vote...
I also think Barack will take CO.
Last week - he was ahead in two of these states so to me that's a big win. ;-)
CNN calling New Jersey for Clinton.
McCain is wiping out romney. Looks like they have their nominee.
Will Clinton or Obama be stronger against McCain?
ND went to Obama per MSNBC
Those delgates all add up!
Y'all are prolly right about CA -- the pundits are very Hillary glowy -- they know something we don't. Pollster in CSPAN just said something about the MO exit polls being wrong. Every time they say that I think Diebold hacking. Susan Swain asking callers 'what is your most important issue.' Which gave me to think about mine. I think maybe it's civil liberties and restoring the Constitution. What is you folks 'most important issue.' I hate to say this but I kinda think it's over and it's Hillary. But you know he has taken a lot of states -- we'll have to see the delegate count.
Obama took Utah, too per MSNBC
Most important issues to me are:
1. The Iraq invasion
2 Healthcare for all as I near retirement
3. Education at all levels
So much is messed up it's hard to pick just a few
John Laesch hanging in there in IL. He ran against Hastert last time. Now has a primary challenge to win.
(IL) U.S. HOUSE - DISTRICT 14CANDIDATESVOTESPrecincts Reported: 71 of 568Bill Foster3969 (44%)John Laesch3573 (39%)Jotham Stein761 (8%)Joe Serra649 (7%)
CNN is diminishing Obama's wins totally. Buying into the Clinton spin. Except for Jeff Toobin. I'll stick with MSNBC which seems a tad more balanced.
Mary vb
I agree...makes you think the Billary machine has special friends. Looks like they had a little inside help in CT. Obama made up huge ground in the last days (down 20%-30% in many of the NY states).

uestions about Chelsea at polling place

(WTNH) _ This might cause a headache for Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign in Connecticut. It's Chelsea Clinton inside a New Haven polling place at 6:00 a.m.
Yay Kansas goes to Barack.
Nothing the matter with them tonight!
Mary vb, I switched back to CNN because I felt they were dedicating too much air time to the Repub races.
OH, they just called KS for Obama!
StatMan, your party is going to lose regardless of who we run:)
Oh I forgot SCREW YOU Wolf Bllitzer for saying North Dakota and Utah don't mean anything.
Congrats, s m.
I'm just thrilled with the CT news - that's a biggie.
Here I go, up up up
McAwful is on MSNBC - fair warning and he's stumping for Hillary. Warlock.
McAuliffe just claimed that we always knew this was going to be a close election. What?
Spin. Spin. He sounds defensive.
I am extremely proud of ND tonight. SD get your act together before your primary.
