CHALLENGE: ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT to raise $380! Help the only Democratic County Commissioner in Missaukee County (Michigan).

On Tuesday, November 4th, history was made in Missaukee County. I was fortunate enough to defeat a Republican incumbent for County Commissioner in the second most Republican county in the state of Michigan. However, as with many campaigns, I have debt to pay off, and several final expenses to pay. I need to raise $380 in 3 days. Can I count on you? Making a contribution is easier than ever. Just click on the link below, and make a secure, online contribution using PayPal...

OFFICIALLY ENDORSED BY MID-MICHIGAN DEMOCRACY FOR AMERICA (MMDfA)!

“Richard REALLY knows his stuff and has specific plans for improving his county.”

As I was quoted in our local daily, the Cadillac News, following my victory...

"The voters...have made a determination that the status quo is no longer acceptable, that we expect more accountability, greater openness, and transparency in county government."

Please, help me pay off my debt by raising $380 in 3 days. Just click on the link below, and make a secure, online contribution using PayPal...

Help St. Joseph County Indiana Democrats With Act Blue

Written by: Dustin Blythe on May 21, 2008 8:52 PM EDT

Linked to groups: Democracy for Indiana, Indiana Progressives, Training Academy Alumni, Class of 2007

We recently had quite a bit of presidential activity here with both the Clinton and Obama campaigns in town for about six weeks.  Each group had occasion to use our county headquarters and each commented on how lucky we are to have a permanent headquarters located in the heart of downtown South Bend.  I realize how fortunate we are.  Just here in Indiana I know of many communities that do not have the funds to have a permanent headquarters.  When election time runs around the Democratic Party rents space on a short term basis then has to turn around and move out after election day.

However, keeping a headquarters up and running is not easy.  It takes time, dedication and money.  The first two we have plenty of; we need help with the third.  That is why I have set up an Act Blue page for donations to the St. Joseph County Democratic Party:

Successful Calling

Written by: Patricia Kintigh on Nov 14, 2006 1:16 PM EST

I just made alot of  "Call for Change" calls. These were through Moveon.org, I went to a call party where I brought my cell phone and completed four sheets of phone numbers that were all to Virginia to elect Jim Webb, which turned out to be a very close race. I'm glad I called and that he won, I think he'll be very good.  Then I made several calls from my home all over the nation, these included NY, IN, MO, RI, CO, OH, MI and AZ.  Also made phone calls from my local Dem. Headquarters one night.  I believe these calls helped, and most of them were alot of fun, because these voters were all FED UP, like me.  All was not roses though, in some districts, I had nasty people that would yell and hangup, those were probably Republicans.  I know the Presidential canpaign will take alot more effort from all of us, but we must fight the good fight to victory!  We must get someone who has appeal to our whole party that everyone will give their full support.  Also we've got to get this terrible Electorate thing changed, I don't trust it at all, Popular Vote should win, and I still think we did win and Bush should have never got in!
