Dean is first.

This strikes me as a sucker post since it requires one to register on a news site to find out what the issues are.

Man who claims he was fired is suing his former employer

Danville – A man who says he was fired from a top job at the Credit Union he worked for after announcing he would run for county commissioner, has sued his former employer. The “Press Enterprise” reports Chad Hack is suing the M-C Federal Credit Union, saying that his firing last month violates his constitutional rights. His boss however, claims he was fired because he was insubordinate, untruthful and hostile.

Hack says those statements defamed his character and also claims commissioners Harold Hurst and Bernie Swank played a role in his termination, telling the Credit Union boss that Hack’s run for office was a bad idea. Hurst tells the paper that is completely “100 percent false” and “untrue”.

Hack is a Democratic candidate for commissioner. Swank and Hurst are Republican incumbents. Hack says he will continue his campaign for commissioner, despite the lawsuit. (Ali Stevens)

According to the Press Enterprise he was fired March 6 the same day he filed as a candidate, and always received glowing evaluations.
