Dear Mr. Monroe:

I have been dealing with your ilk since I first became involved in the online progressive movement about a year ago:  Those who believe that Freedom of Speech only applies to their own self-important thoughts and opinions. 

To correct your misuse of the word spam, spam refers to unsolicited e-mails, sent in bulk, usually of a commercial nature. 

Democracy for American (DFA), and Blog for America, were created for the purpose of bringing progressives together from all across the county, to share ideas and advance the progressive cause, thus eliminating parochialism and regionalism. 

Blog for America is a public site, the unlimited use of which is protected by the First Amendment.  Further, any attempt to restrict use of Blog for America is an overt violation of Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression...without interference, and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

Apparently, you have appointed yourself as Blog policeman for DFA.  I believe that sharing an obscure quote from Albert Einstein, regarding the importance of "giv[ing] in return as much as I have received," is an appropriate use of this site, and pertinent to the Thanksgiving holiday.
