DC for Democracy is the District's largest unaligned progressive group of activists, community leaders and everyday voters working for positive change in our local government and recognition in America's legislature. Check us out on Facebook . Our over 400 members volunteer alongside other progressive groups to: - increase civic participation in government - fight for progressive causes locally and nationally, including health care reform, affordable housing, public safety, and a sustainable economy - support full citizenship for DC through statehood Best of all, we have fun doing it!
