We provide campaign training, organizing resources, and media exposure so our members have the power to support progressive issues and candidates up and down the ballot in all 50 states.
About America's Voice
The mission of America's Voice is to realize the promise of workable and humane comprehensive immigration reform. Our goal is to build the public support and create the political momentum for reforms that will transform a dysfunctional immigration system that does not work into a regulatory system that does.

What is the DFA Netroots Nation Scholarship Competition?
Every year, the Netroots Nation Convention has provided progressive activists and candidates for office a forum to strengthen the online community and grow the progressive movement while inspiring action and growing new ideas to affect change.
Democracy for America members have helped to make the convention a success every year, by attending, contributing funds and participating in discussions. Since 2008, DFA members have helped grow Netroots Nation by finding and supporting activists who couldn't afford to attend the convention on their own.
In 2009, DFA sent 40 fantastic progressive activists to Netroots Nation in Pittsburgh, PA thanks to the tremendous support of thousands of DFA members across the country. This year, we're working to do it again at Netroots Nation 2010. You can join the competition or contribute online to help send an activist to the convention.

What are the selection criteria?
We're looking to send 40 progressive activists to Netroots Nation with compelling stories, who are active online and offline, and who will thrive from their Netroots Nation experience. Our goal is to find people who will expand the Netroots Nation community with fresh ideas and energy.
DFA members and netroots activists from across the country will have the opportunity to help choose who we send to the convention by voting for those candidates they think offer the most compelling stories. Scholars will be chosen in three rounds and the top three applicants with the most votes in each round will automatically win a scholarship. So, if you're applying, be sure to get out the vote for yourself by asking your family, friends and coworkers to vote for you in this year's competition. All other scholarships will be chosen at the discretion of the selection committee. The selection committee is comprised of the Executive Director of DFA, the Executive Director of Netroots Nation, former DFA Netroots Nation Scholars, and several specifically selected prominent bloggers.
What does the scholarship provide?
The DFA Netroots Nation Scholarship covers the cost of one all-access pass to Netroots Nation 2010 and hotel accomodations for one from July 22 - July 25, 2010 as well as a few select meals and outside events sponsored by Democracy for America. Scholarship winners will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the convention and should bring enough money to cover all remaining meals.
