A little about me

I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but have lived in the US most of my life.

I started a small political talk radio show at a community radio station in 2005, and since then have worked tirelessly to grow it to over 125 radio and television affiliates, a hugely popular YouTube channel, and inclusion in the Free Speech TV schedule.

I provide a real alternative to homogeneous corporate media, something we are all becoming increasingly bored with, while providing a real platform for true discussions about the real issues facing us - not whether the President was born in Kenya, or whether rape should be redefined.

Why I deserve a Netroots Nation Scholarship

As a grassroots non corporate media outlet that gives our show away for free to all of our affiliate stations at our expense, we need help to obtain the resources to make it to NN11, and once there, we'll produce the top notch content our audience knows and loves.

What first inspired me to get involved

Although politics was also an interest, I became fully engrossed after the 2000 Supreme Court decision that gave the Presidency to George W. Bush, and have been increasingly involved ever since!

How I've gotten others involved

Through The David Pakman Show, I've brought people into the political sphere through the personality of our show that previously did not ever pay attention to politics. The most common email I get from listeners is "I never cared about politics at all until I saw your show."
