Why I want to attend Netroots Nation:
I swore last year would be the last YearlyKos I ever missed - that kind of energy comes together in one place only just so often, and I don't want to miss this one.
What I want to get out of Netroots Nation:
I want to network with other progressive activists around the country to get a better understanding of what is working and what isn't working where they live.
In 10 words or less, create a bumper-sticker slogan against John McCain:

Why I Deserve a Scholarship to Attend
My activism on an individual level has mirrored DFA's as an organization - focusing on strengthening the democratic party with a commitment to progressive principles, an emphasis on uniting broad coalitions, and an insistence on a clean, honest and open government and party. I'd like to take that model to Austin.
