People don't forget to vote, they choose not to vote because they lack motivation. This one hour training will show you how to talk to progressive voters in your area in a way that fires them up and gets them excited about voting in November.
Sept. 1st, 2010 - Creating a Positive Campaign Culture
Electoral campaigns have a very distinct culture to them. Long hours, high pressure and strong personalities can create an impossible work environment if you're not careful. This one hour online training will focus on how to create a positive culture on your campaign that gets the most out of a candidate, staff and volunteers. Our guest trainers will be the staff from Democratic GAIN .
Sept. 15th, 2010 - Mobilizing Progressives with Google
Google is moving into campaigns in a big way in 2010. Google Ads and YouTube are creating cost efficient ways to target and mobilize progressive voters, while tools like Google Docs and Calendars can keep your operations running smoothly. This hour long online training will show you how Google can help elect your candidate this November. Our guest trainer for this session will be Google Elections & Advocacy rep Matt Yalowitz.
Aug. 25th, 2010 - Mobilizing Key Constituencies: Labor, Women, and Veterans
Mobilizing key supporter groups requires some specialized outreach and messaging. This one hour online training will show you how to reach out to three key constituency groups in 2010: Labor, Women and Veterans. Our co-trainers will feature staffers from the AFSCME, Women's Campaign Forum and the Truman Project.
Sept. 8th, 2010 - Relational Organizing 101: 1-1s, House Parties and Emergency Meetings
Relationships are the key to getting volunteers to commit to helping your campaign. This hour long online training will focus on three of the most essential tactics you'll need to build strong relationships with your volunteers: 1-on-1 meetings, House Parties and Emergency Meetings. Our guest trainer for this session will be the Field Director for the OH-15th Matthew "Mudcat" Arnold.
Sept. 22nd, 2010 - GOTV: Getting Out the Progressive Vote
GOTV: It all comes down to this. The future of our country may depend on how effective our GOTV operations are this year. Fortunately there is some cutting edge new research to help you plan your GOTV efforts. This hour long online training will show you what works and what doesn't when it comes to GOTV tactics. Our guest trainers will be Helen Strain and the Analyst Institute.
