Corporations have enormous, unacceptable power in this country, and they are aided and abetted in their purchase of our politicians by their legal status as 'persons' under the law.
By signing and promoting this petition we declare that we think corporations are not people, and that we support the adoption of a constitutional amendment that a) disallows corporations from election spending, and b) designates corporations as a separate category from persons.
Human beings have inherent rights, big businesses do not; end corporate personhood.
