Gov. Howard Dean Campaigns For Kerry/Edwards Ticket In Seattle

BURLINGTON- Gov. Howard Dean, founder and honorary chair of Democracy for America, will be in Seattle on October 16th to attend a Get Out the Vote rally at Pier 30 in support of the Kerry/Edwards ticket and statewide Washington Democrats.

Joining Dean at the rally will be U.S. Senator Patty Murray, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, Attorney General Christine Gregoire, Insurance Commissioner Deborah Senn and Representative Laura Ruderman. Ruderman, a candidate for Secretary of State in Washington is part of the "Dean Dozen," a group of socially progressive, fiscally responsible candidates endorsed by Dean and Democracy for America.

Democracy for America is a political action committee dedicated to building a grassroots network that supports socially progressive and fiscally responsible candidates at all levels of government.
