Democracy for America Launches New Grassroots Organizing Software

BURLINGTON, VT -- Today, Democracy for America (DFA) launched its new grassroots organizing software, "DFA-Link." The new software provides DFA activists a free online tool to organize events, connect with local, state, and national DFA groups and communicate with private internal messages. www.dfalink.com

"The heart of DFA is the grassroots," said Tom Hughes, executive director of Democracy for America. "We have over 400 groups throughout the country who for over two years, have been meeting monthly, taking action on a local, state and national level and planning and participating in national days of action through online organizing. This new grassroots organizing software will help them coordinate these efforts even more efficiently and effectively."
