BURLINGTON, VT -- Today, Democracy for America (DFA) endorsed Rosalynn Bliss for City Commission of Grand Rapids, Michigan's Second Ward -- making her the newest member of the DFA-List, Candidates for America.

"Rosalynn Bliss is a candidate who will work for the best interests of her constituents," said Jim Dean, Chair of Democracy for America. "Her dedication to improving the environment, economy and overall lives of the citizens of Grand Rapids sets her apart from her opponent. We are proud to include her in the DFA-List."

Rosalynn is a child advocate who has dedicated her career to serving others. She works diligently to improve the lives of families, to prevent violence and to address her community's problems. She is committed to making Grand Rapids one of the cleanest, greenest, safest, most economically strong places to live. Bliss will make her vision a reality by providing employers with incentives to stay and expand in Grand Rapids and to make sure the city receives every penny of state and federal funding it is due.
