book club anyone?

My DFA group back in Chicago had an active book club, meeting about every 6 weeks. We read things like What's the Matter with Kansas, God's Politics, Don't Think of an Elephant, etc. Linkups helped us plan now-is-the-time actions to pursue our various election, activism, and outreach goals, but the book club gave us a focused discussion on some long-term issue that helped us consider what our goals were and what strategies would help us get there.
