Support Keith Olbermann on MSNBC for Speaking Truth to Power!

Last week Keith Olbermann went out on a limb in a 7 minute commentary in the Edward R. Morrow style, against Donald Rumsfield's rant attacking anyone who dissents on his policies. He spoke truth to power against Rumsfield calling dissenters Fascist appeasers - I recommend everyone to go to MSNBC TV - Countdown with Keith Olbermann and watch the video: FEELING MORALLY, INTELLECTUALLY CONFUSED?

Then I suggest that you send emails to MSNBC supporting the one voice that is still on mainstream media that is not afraid to speak up - we need to show that we support him for he is under attack by some right-wing bloggers who want his head or to make him irrelevant. They are so rigid authoritative figures that they even attack their own who dare to get off topic.

(Finally, we in America are proud. We have someone in the media who isn't afraid! Keith Olbermann just isn't afraid at all and what could be better than that at a time when our Democracy is so threatened by the very people who are supposed to be protecting it.

Just like in times past, it has taken the bold and brave to speak truth to power and to let us, the citizens of this country, know the truth. Well, Keith Olbermann, more than any other anchor whether it be on NBC, CBS, ABC or other cable, has had the guts to do what Keith is doing every day. What he said about Donald Rumsfield will go down in history and might be in fact, the very commentary that saved America - and you, MSNBC, will be part of that.

I hope you are all proud of your leading journalist and commentator - you have the brightest and the best in Keith and I hope you do all that you need to do to keep him and reward him for being so brave. )
