Inadequate Rumsfeld
In response to Frank Brunner's letter to the editor ("Supporting Rumsfeld," Voice of the people, April 23), I would comment that Donald Rumsfeld may be a great American, but he is not a great secretary of defense. If being a great American is all that is required for this critical post, then we can expect to end up with quagmires like the present war in Iraq, which is turning out to be a godsend for terrorists. One has to wonder why Brunner is wishing 10 Donald Rumsfelds on America. Is he subconsciously rooting for Osama bin Laden?
