Join Amir Hussain and Elias Mallon as they explore some of the ways these two great religions might coexist in a globalized world as they present “Christians and Muslims: Toward a Shared Future” on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Schiff Family Conference Center. Hussain, an associate professor of theological studies at Loyola Marymount University, has a formal relationship with the United Church of Canada and has worked with the United Methodist Church in the United States. He is the author of Oil and Water: Two Faiths, One God.   Mallon, of Franciscans International, has taught at several American universities and is a former director of the Graymoor Ecumenical and Interreligious Institute in New York City. He is the author of Islam: What Catholics Should Know. This event is sponsored by Xavier’s Brueggeman Center for Dialogue, the Franciscans Network, the Office for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.   For more information about the conference please contact the Brueggeman Center at 513 745-3922.
