Join me in supporting Anne Dicker for State Representative

Anne Dicker is running for PA State Representative in the 175th District.

You might say, so what does this have to do with us out here in the Chester County. Well, just like a lot of us, Anne grew out of the Dean for America movement. Then, when Howard formed Democracy for America, Anne co-founded Philly for Change and really got to work. Anne led the successful fight against Social Security privatization, organized efforts to increase the minimum wage, and demanded accountability when the Legislature voted themselves a pay raise. She also served on the Democracy for America Advisory Board.

Anne called me the other night to let me know that she was taking the plunge and running for State Representative. She is counting on small donations in order for her to be able to compete in the Democratic primary for her district. I've sent her some money and a hope you will too. Send whatever you can. No amount is too small. I believe we need to continue to support progressive Democratic candidates wherever they may be. And as Howard Dean showed and said: WE HAVE THE POWER!
