Join New Committees!

Comprising the backbone of DFA-Pasadena's revised organizational structure, are the following six Standing Committees which were presented at the September 6th Chapter meeting.

The Steering Committee welcomes you to join any Committee that interests you, and help meet our exciting goals for 2006/2007. Please reply soon to this email, indicating your interest in one or more of these Committees. The first Committee meetings will be held starting next week (time and location TBD).

- - 6 NEW STANDING COMMITTEES - - JOIN NOW!

* CAMPAIGN - Coordinates Resources to affect Campaigns, including active support for candidates in specific races and ballot initiatives.

* EVENTS - Confirm Guests, Identify, set up and strike Locations and Handle Refreshments. Responsibilities are focused on event-related, physical logistics and scheduling tasks that are not normally covered by another Committee.

* FINANCE - Budget / Accounting / Fundraising / Dues / Treasury / PAC rules.

* INFORMATION - Maintain Member Directories, Event and Meeting Calendars, Donor Contact Lists and other Information databases.

* OUTREACH - Coordinate Press Releases and inspire the broader community to join, contribute and participate.

* RESEARCH - Review and advise on Political Issues of the Day.
