I just want to thank everyone who came out last night and made our City Council Candidates Forum a huge success! Also, a huge thanks goes out to all the candidates who came out to our event and to Mayor Bragg for attending our event.
I thought overall it went extremely well. All the candidates told me afterwards that they enjoyed themselves and each thought the discussion went well and brought up a diverse set of ideas and opinions.

By all means, Wednesday night was a huge success. We had 60+ people at the event. I want to thank everyone who came out and watched Wal Mart: The High Cost of Low Price Wenesday night (12/7) at the State Farm Lecture Room at the BAS building at MTSU. I also want to thank the MTSU Democrats for enabling us to be able to show the film on campus. Come and join us on Wednesday, December 7th, at 7 p.m. at the BAS State Farm room, Democracy for Rutherford County is co-sponsoring a showing of the documentary Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices with the MTSU College Democrats. Tickets are $5, with proceeds going towards DRC and the MTSU College Democrats. This movie has received a lot of great reviews and now is your chance to come out and see this film. Door to Door for Strickland this past Saturday

DRC, along with the Smyrna Firefighters, other DFT members from around Tennessee, and other concerned Democrats in Rutherford County, gathered at David Stricklin's house Saturday Oct. 29th to go door to door for David in his campaign for Smyrna Town Council. Everyone had a great time enjoying the beautiful fall day and getting the word out about David's campaign.
