Member Three Easy Ways to Help Jerry McNerney

Dear Member,

The last time I sent you a note I asked you to support Jerry McNerney by voting in Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriot Fund's vote. Because of your work, we won the vote over candidates from across the country. This amazing display of grassroots support earned Jerry a $5,000 donation from the Progressive Patriot Fund.

However, we need you to do three things in order to keep our momentum and continue to demonstrate the depth and breadth of McNerney's support among people like you and me.

First, go to Democracy for America and vote for Jerry in their Grassroots All-Star poll. If he wins, he will be the subject of a national fundraising appeal, which could easily raise tens of thousands of dollars. It's free and easy for you to vote, and we have a real shot at winning. We won the first round outright and made the first cut, which was from 34 candidates to 5. Right now we're 3rd in Round 2. We need to finish #1. Your vote will help get us there. Second, Mark Warner's Forward Together PAC is promising that Warner (a Presidential candidate and former Governor of Virginia) will be a part of a fundraiser for the winner of its MapChangers competition. Warner is a nationally-known Democrat whose presence would add some lucrative star-power to a McNerney fundraiser. It might be worth five-figures to the candidate who finishes #1 in the vote. So please go to Forward Together site and let Mark Warner know that you want McNerney to win:

Lastly, we've come a long way towards building a broad-based movement to fight Richard Pombo and elect Jerry McNerney to Congress, but we continue growing.
