Michigan Supreme Court is WORST in the Nation - Vote Hathaway for change!

Dear DFA'ers,

Yesterday I had an event in Ann Arbor to raise awareness about the Michigan Supreme Court Case. Only 12 people came, only half of them were people who were not already aware.

We MUST oust the incumbant Judge Cliff Taylor. He is terrible... sleeps through trials and his rulings are always biased toward big-business and government and set new precidence. Unfortunatley, there are 3 other judges that always side with him, resulting in a 4 to 3 vote AGAINST justice.

A study published in May 2008 by the University of Chicago Law School titled, "Which States Have the Best (and Worst) High Courts," ranked Michigan worst (ranking at the VERY BOTTOM of the list) in terms of independence and on composit scores. We MUST elect Diane Marie Hathaway, the Michigan Democratic Party supported candidate.  I heard her speak at the MDP convention and I sincerely believe she will be fair, impartial, and provide justice in her rulings.

One problem is that when voters vote a straight party ticket, they forget to vote in the non-partisan section, which includes all the judicial candidates.

Please help me raise the awareness of Michigan voters to "Vote all the way, vote Hathaway!"
