Get on board!

Have you noticed something different happening to Democrats and Progressives in your home town? Adams County Democratic Committee (ACDC) is working with the Gettysurg Area DFA to transform local politics. It feels like it did during Vietnam when we chanted, "Don't Mourn, Organize!"

Not only do we have excellent progressive candidates running at every level of government, we also have about 40 people petitioning to get on the ballot to represent their voting district on the Democratic Committee! Four years ago there were about 25 persons running for 102 slots, and less than that showing up for ACDC meetings.

Every first Wednesday we get about 50 to 60 people coming to our DFA Meetups -- and the number of people getting involved in an off-year Democratic primary is unprecedented.
