Be heard! Attend a Casino Town Hall Meeting WEDNESDAY
Linked to groups: Philly for Change
Dear Member ,This Wednesday, September 13 at 7pm, you can learn all you need to know about how casinos will change our city by attending a "Casino Town Hall Meeting" at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (12th and Arch Streets).
Big changes are underway! The Pennsylvania Gaming Board is
about to issue two gaming licenses to implement slots parlors in the City of Brotherly Love. The Pennsylvania State Legislature is gearing up their fall session to change the Gaming Law.
How will gaming effect the neighborhoods closest to the slots
parlors? How will slots parlors effect the city as a whole and its citizens? Educate yourself on slots in Philadelphia by joining a panel of experts and activists to talk openly about these significant changes to our city!
