co-located with the Grassroots Use of Technology Conference and hosted at the University of Massachusetts Lowell

The 12th annual Grassroots Radio Conference is a gathering of grassroots , volunteer-powered, community radio stations. Connect, learn new skills, discuss critical issues and do some partying.

The theme of the conference will be diversity n grassroots media with a particular focus on media access for newly arrived immigrant groups.

The conference is excited to be in Lowell, MA. Co-located with the Grassroots Use of Technology Conference, we look to expand our impact in using grassroots communication tools for social change.

This event is also presented in collaboration with the CTC VISTA Project at UMass Boston.
