This Saturday's canvass is of major importance to Dan's campaign. On
Saturday Dan and as many volunteers as possible will participate in the "Action for a New Direction," a national volunteer mobilization day
to contact tens of thousands of Democratic voters across the nation

This is especially important to Dan because the Democratic
Congressional Campaign Committee will be rewarding the campaign which recruits the most "Action for a New Direction" volunteers with a
fundraising e-mail from DCCC Chairman Rahm Emanuel to the DCCC's
massive list of national supporters.

Support from the DCCC would be a boost to Dan's campaign! Help him
win this contest and win on Election Day by committing to volunteer
on September 9th.

This is really a chance for progressive democrats to send Rahm a message that the 10th District is a winnable race, has strong grassroots support and deserves the same from him!
