Hi Las Vegas & Henderson DFA Members;

I know so many of you were at Yearly Kos, when they held their first convention here in Las Vegas. Can it really be 5 years ago? A lot of DFA members volunteered and we have been asked to do so again.

If you don't have tickets to what is now called Netroots Nation which will be held at the Rio Hotel this July 22, 23rd and 24th you can still get them at www.netrootsnation.com or Register in person.

Please get back to me at my personal email, Kkayela@aol.com, so I can forward on your name, email, phone number and days and times you are available to volunteer.
Wednesday July 21st (reg bag stuffing)10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday July 22nd (convention)2.5 hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Friday July 23rd (convention)2.5 hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Saturday July 24 (convention)2.5 hour shifts between 8:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Sunday July 25 (clean up and day of service)

Just so you know we have 4 people lined up for the 2-4 and 4-6 p.m. bag stuffing on Wed. the 21st. Why not have a big group of DFA members doing so and working together as we did last time?

We had a great time being at that tremendous convention but I know some of you could not afford it back then and volunteered and still loved it from the high energy, and seeing many of the famous political figures walking amongst us.

So please, if you can volunteer whether you are actually attending or not, it's a place you want to be in some capacity. A great Las Vegas event you won't want to miss. So volunteer, help out and enjoy!

Also, I will soon be posting details for a Special Drinking Liberally event for that Tuesday, July 20th at 6:30 at the Gin Mill, 2561 Windmill Parkway, Henderson NV 89074. It's only 12-15 minutes off the Strip at Pecos and Windmill. Anyone in town for Netroots is encouraged to come join us.
