On Tuesday, Laura Benson launched an outrageous negative ad campaign against me. I hope you are as disgusted as I am with the nasty attempts to distract voters from the real issues that matter to Florida and our nation.

Laura Benson promised the citizens of District 69 she would keep her campaign honest and positive. She broke her promise.

My opponent has now aired a ridiculous TV ad alleging that I support uncontrolled immigration.
This is a lie, and Laura Benson knows it.

For twenty years, I have been a harsh critic of the way our nation views illegal immigration and refuses to punish employers who knowingly profit from it. I have long held that illegal immigration threatens our national security.

Why has Laura unleashed these lies? Because I have a positive agenda for change – I will stand up for families and small businesses against big insurance companies and fight for a world class school system, growth management and affordable housing.
