Thank you to so many of the Monmouth for Democracy DFA/PDA members who came out to phone bank, walk door to door and supported this race. I won in a landslide 2505 to 1703. (provisional ballots are not yet tabulated) Juanita and I unseated an incumbent GOPer who ran for her 3rd time in as many years. Thanks to the Training Academy and Night School, we out maneuvered them and ran a good positive campaign. I'd liek to thank our neighbors too for their support. Middlesex for Democracy sent us Kim and Karina and Ocean County DFA/PDA endorsed us and lent support. We are grateful.
It is time for us all to pat ourselves on the back for fighting to take America back. Governor Dean, I know is proud of all of us for carrying his 2004 message forward til now.
Thanks a million!
Ed Zipprich, Councilman-elect

We are in the home stretch now. The DNC convention is under way and people are excited about change. Our campaign is gearing up to contact every voter in Red Bank to let them know what Progressive Grassroots activism is about.
Can you spend Wednesday evenings with our Campaign coordinator and make 40 phone calls each week?
If so, please email Vin at campaign@redbankdems.com to volunteer.
Thanks!
Ed
This is our year

The race for a nominee has concluded. Senator Obama is prepared and the rest of the ticket is supercharged to take our country back! I am supercharged to win in November on the municipal level.
Chairmen Dean are both working hard to make sure we turn out our members to support all candidates up and down ballot.
This is our year to win. We have great candidates running. We have newly elected county committee people who are willing to participate in the process of getting our neighbors and supporters out to vote.
We cannot lose. We have the power and we are the people we've been waiting for. We have hope and yes, we can change the direction America is heading. DFA has given us the tools and we are skilled at using them.
This is our year. Get involved, stay involved. Call your neighbors, talk to your family--do it 3 times between now and Election Day. We can't lose.

The peace vigil Wednesday evening attracted over 50 people here in Red Bank.
It was a fine showing of a coalition of the willing -- to brave the rainy weather.
The UUC Social Action Committee, Monmouth for Democracy, MoveOn and another organizations were represented and the fact that more horns were tooted as cars drove by proves that this illegal war is not supported by Americans.
Thanks for coming out to support our troops.
Bring 'em home!
Unite for a Progressive President
Linked to groups: Monmouth for Democracy/PDA
Well, our true progressive voice has step aside. Sadly, John Edwards lost out to the media. The media has chosen Hillary & Obama. There are your choices against McCain and Romney, the media's other darlings.
This is a greater reason for you to attend Wednesday's DFALink meeting. What do we do now? Talk to other progressives about the two choices left in the race and determine who is the more progressive candidate. Let's throw our support into our congressional and local races since both remaining presidential campaigns are well funded & organized.
Monmouth for Democracy will meet at Racioppi's Kitchen 107 Oakland Street, Red Bank, NJ.
Ed Hughes will moderate the discussion starting at 6:30. Please "chip-in" for Food & drink at about 12 bucks!
Thanks for all the support
I had a great run against a tough opponent. Who used all the sneaky GOP tactics against me and my running mates, Sharon Lee and Kathy Horgan. I got Sharon and Kathy handily elected and I only lost by 59 votes.
Know that I am grateful to DFA, NJ4D, Ocean County DFA/PDA and my "soldiers" at Monmouth for Democracy.
Special thanks to our Chairman, Jim Dean for coming to Red Bank to walk with me.
I'm back in as Zip '08

Red Bank to Greet Jim Dean on Saturday with Ed Zipprich
The Bus for Change and Monmouth for Democracy will be out en force this Saturday.
Starting at 10:30 a.m. in the Red Bank Parking train station parking lot, candidates from all over the 12th Legislative District and Monmouth County will meet with DFA-List candidate Ed Zipprich, his running mates and members of Monmouth for Democracy for a rally.
The Bus for Change will transport candidates and campaign volunteers around Red Bank drumming support for the entire democratic slate in this very red county.
The Bus for Change will host Amod Choudhary who is challenging long-time Republicrook Claire French and Jack Hill, candidate for Sherrif - a candidate who actually has law enforcement experience! Democratic Freeholder Barbara McMorrow will be out with us to support 2 of the strongest democratic challengers she could have hoped for; Steve Schueler and John D'Amico. These guys can actually help Barbara break the stranglehold the GOP has had on the Board of Chosen Freeholders for almost 20 years.
At 3 p.m. The Bus for Change will pull up to Red Bank Democratic HQ to greet Jim Dean who is stopping into town to show his support for Ed Zipprich and the great democratic team headed by Sen. Ellen Karcher and Assemblyman Mike Panter and Amy Mallet.
Come out and enjoy the fun. Sign up at http://www.dfalink.com/event.php?id=23879
Chairman Dean & the Bus for Change in Red Bank Nov. 3rd
Chairman Jim Dean of Democracy for America is coming from CT to Red Bank to help Ed Zipprich and his running mates campaign.
Come spend a few hours to strengthen our party.
Please make sure you turn out November 3rd for the Rally and campaign event that will certainly turn the GOPers in Monmouth County and the 12th Legislative District on its ear!! Can you see the look on the Red Bank Republicans faces? Don't think Jen Beck or her protege, Grace Cangemi, will be smiling those trade-mark smiles when they find this out!
Rally to start with the Bus for Change at 10:30 a.m. in the train station parking lot at the Red Bank Train Station. Cruise around town with Andy on the bus...hand out literature...help the candidates meet and greet citizens all around Red Bank. Encourage folks to get out and vote on Nov. 6th.
Greet Chairman Jim Dean at 3 o'clock at Democratic Campaign Headquarters, 125 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ
Help elect Democrats: Ed Zipprich, Kathy Horgan, Jack Hill, Amod Choudhary, Judge John D'Amico, Steve Schueler, Amy Mallet and re-elect Sharon Lee , Mike Panter and Ellen Karcher. Sign up at http://www.dfalink.com/event.php?id=23879
