Events Tied To Multiple Groups

Linked to groups: DFA-Link Organizers

Hello. I'm an organizer of both a Statewide and Local Link group, and I wanted to be able to link an event we're doing Locally to the Statewide group to let them know what we're up to.

As it stands, I believe I'd have to create two or three different manifestations of the same event - but it would be a lot easier if we could have a box setup where we could highlight (or CTRL-click) multiple groups to link a single event to.

Also, how does one go about getting a URL shortcut? dfalink.com/columbus works to get to a group - how do we get ours to get a shortcut like that?

linking and shortcuts

Hi Sameer,

We're currently working on enabling organizers to link events to multiple groups. It should be ready later this fall.

You can request a shortcut by writing to mydfa@democracyforamerica.com.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for your quick response! Unfortunately, I'll now be asking more questions, since it took so little time for a response. Haha. Thanks again.
