Windshields and Parking Lots.

Written by: Ted Tilton Jr. on Nov 14, 2006 12:57 PM EST

I took literature that I got for free from the Party Organization and other places, door hangers, post-it notes from DFA etc, and took them to the many apartment complexes around my town.  It was a nice night and the windshields ended up a great place to put them.  It gives people the chance to get on the web etc on their own time and also gives them the impression that someone cares about the issue.  I think the web is the future or organization, its just a matter of publicizing our many great political web sites such as TrueMajority, MoveOn, and DFA-Link.

I also taped reminders to vote and the Democratic Party door hangers onto community boards in public places and private businesses.  Most laundrymats have pin boards in them, as do grocery stores and breakfast places.  The library also had a pin board that I put up the Democratic Party Platform.

I love it.  It is fun, easy, and the more people we bring to these websites, or remind to vote, the better this country is going to be.

 Peace.
