DFA Night School

Dear Member,

Vermont is gearing up for one of the biggest election years in recent history. Vermont has elections for open senate and house seats, plus an exciting race for governor. Every vote is going to count this year and we all need to be proactively spreading our progressive vision. To help us do that, DFA is offering a series of conference calls to teach us the tools we need to win.

DFA's Night School will be happening for the next three Tuesday nights. This Tuesday's session is on expanding our volunteer network. Upcoming sessions will include canvassing and phone banking. DFA has been holding grassroots trainings across the country for the past two years and this is a great opportunity to participate in one from your own home. There is also a new feature on DFALink that allows us to support campaigns. By clicking on the "campaign" link, you can search for candidates in Vermont that have applied for DFA's endorsement. These links offer an easy way to voice your support for a candidate and get involved in their campaigns.

DFA HQ is also getting ready for a new batch of interns coming in from all over America to join us in our work. Because DFA does not offer financial compensation to interns, they are asking Burlington-area members to help provide housing for these hardworking students.
