Karl Rove's plan for 2006

The Baltimore Sun is reported today on Karl Rove's campaign message:Link
I want to send a message to Howard Dean, because his response, criticizing Rove's Valerie Wilson tantrum, is not effective delivery of OUR MESSAGE. Either he blew it, or the reporters blew it.
Rove is trying to spin the progressive agenda to his faithful as backwards "pre 9-11" thinking. I would like to remind everyone that electing Bush to the presidency was probably a catalyst for 9-11 if not a cause. Osama Bin Laden's latest polemic Link is against Bush specifically, and not America in general. I think the belligerent foreign policy of the Bush regime prior to 9-11 continues, and make us less secure then and now. Rove's message is backwards (especially to the religious Christian conservative support base): security through violence? Osama Bin Laden is still threatening us, and Republicans are asking us to throw good money after bad losses. They want us to sacrifice another pound of flesh and they refuse to promise any results. We know the ill consequences, but the benefits are wishful thinking. That is morally, financially, politically, and logically irresponsible.
The Republicans, under Rove's guidance will be campaigning under the banner of "National Security," but they are living in the 1980's fantasy of what they wish the Cold War had turned out. The global economy is here. Therfore global politics are here. "National Security" these days means "International Security." Republicans are promising us National Security, but they are only delivering "International Insecurity." This, of course, boils down to more of the same. Rove's Republicans are circling the wagons. They have no message.
