Obama Campaign HeadQuarters in Dubois, PA

Written by: april niver on Mar 18, 2008 2:49 PM EDT

The Obama campaign takes grassroots activism seriously.

They have sent staff to help spread the word that Sen. Obama will make positive changes in the U.S. that will help address the issues of people in places like rural PA!

If you are interested in volunteering, stop by the office:

11 N. Brady Street

Dubois, PA 15801

(right across the street from Luigi's)

You can contact the staff by phone:

Ryan 515-822-3886

The current focus is to get people registered, particularly Independents!

People who want to vote for Obama must be registered as a Democrat by March 24th!

People who are 17 must have turned 18 before April 22 to be able to vote in the primary.

Let's reach out to people who feel disenfranchised by the system. Can you imagine a 35 year-old-person who has never voted before??? They are out there. It might even be your neighbor.

Pick up some voter registration cards at one of the area courthouses (Brookville or Clearfield) or at the Dubois HQ at 11 N. Brady Street and make sure the people you know are registered.

Ask all of your friends to do the same!

If you collect the voter registration cards, you can just drop them off at the Dubois Campaign Headquarters and they will do the rest. No one even needs to use a stamp!

You can even register to vote online by using the link at: http://pa.barackobama.com

Also, if you are not sure where your polling place is located you can access that information as well as link to absentee ballots by going to https://www.pavoterservices.state.pa.us/Pages/SurePortalHome.aspx
