Meet Jan Schakowsky August 10!
Linked to groups: Northside DFA
Meet Jan Schakowsky August 10!This is Jeff Waldhoff from DFA Edgewater and Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century (DL21C) -- a group not affiliated with the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC).
I am inviting everyone here to a special event that DL21C is sponsoring -- a "members only" meeting on August 10, 2006.
Nothing to do with 1980s fashion, this meeting will be an opportunity fo DL21C members can meet with one another, discuss the post-primary landscape, look ahead to the fall elections, and discuss what issues and projects DL21C wants to tackle in the coming months.
I am pleased to inform you that Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky will deliver a keynote address at this event.
The event will start at 6:00pm on August 10, 2006 at Timothy O'Toole's in Streeterville (622 N. Fairbanks Court, in Chicago, IL).
The event is open to all members of DL21C-Chicago. If you aren't a member right now, you can join on the website - it's only $35.
