Recently I attended the International Conference on Borderlands at the University of Texas El Paso on 27-30 March 2006 The tile of my paper was, "Society of Cities, Regions and Borderlands: A ROADMAP to the Ibero-American Dream" See: www.research.utep.edu/lineaeterrarum.

As a follow up to the results of the Conference, I still chair a roundtableentitled:
"Proposal of a Pilot Program on Regional and Borderland Integration based on Sustainable Economic Development Principles" to be applied in different scenarios of Hispanic Continental America and Iberian Peninsula"

In this regard, we are going to organize a series of roundtables in selected geographic setting linking academics, policy makers and civil society leaders.
