Great Training Opportunity

I want to make sure everyone in Somerset DFA knows about a Great Training Opportunity coming to OUR COUNTY the last weekend in August - the DFA Training Academy in NJ. www.dfalink.com/njtraining...

The Training is FREE to all the members of NJ for Democracy who signed onto DFA's new communication tool, DFA-Link, by April 3rd. That's when NJ won a national tournament - we were the fastest-growing DFA in the country - and the prize was an all-expense-paid training for all our members. Others are encouraged to come as well for a small fee ( $60 or less if you prepay - details at www.dfalink.com/njtraining... )

The Training will be Saturday & Sunday August 26-27 at Raritan Valley Community College in Somerset County. We're going to use the sessions to power-up for our campaigns in 2006, and to start a conversation in DFA about whether we can rely on our political parties to represent the progressive shift we're seeing now.

The start times are 9am and it goes till 5pm. Lunch will be provided, and there will be drinks and baked goods on sale, to benefit DFA and our candidates. When you sign up, if you were a NJ DFA-Link member before April 3, you can RSVP without a payment page. If not, you'll be automatically directed to a payment page that has a sliding scale payment..
