Precinct Chair Training

The local DFA group in Dallas County scripted and presented a Power Point presentation for Precinct Chair Training for Dallas County Precinct Chairs and any interested activist.  The presentation has been so well received!  We've even had requests for the training from outside the county.  The Dallas County Democratic Party has appointed State House District Coordinators that are responsible for recruiting and training the Precinct Chairs within their district.  Training rarely occured, until DFW created this terrific training program.  Now the Coordinators plan the meetings, arrange time, location, etc. for the training, coordinate with the DFA Trainers to present the training, and the meetings take place in local areas, so participants are more likely to attend.  There is also an advantage in getting to know other precinct chairs within their own districts.  It is such a win-win situation!  We sincerely appreciate the hard-working DFA trainers in Dallas County.  Bernie Tomoyo, Michael Thomas, Crispin Reedy, Doug Taylor and Tom Harris have been the leaders for this effort.
