Below are some of the events taking place over the next 2 months. It is exciting to see so much happening and so many realizing there is much work to do !!!!
I am sorry if I missed something someone sent to me but with receiving 300 to 500 emails a day, its not hard to overlook some important information. As a result I am asking if there is something you want blasted to my list, to please put in the subject line : ADD EVENT TO BLAST LIST ,also if you could follow a few basic guidelines, it would be a big help to me, not having to go through to pick out the most important details to include.
If you could follow this outline, I would appreciate it and make it easier for me to promote your event:
Date: Name of Event :
Time: Place:
Location/Directions:

You
can register here for the BuzzFlash Conference on “The War Against the
Working Class,” to be held on Saturday, September 27th at the
Philadelphia Convention Center: https://www.buzzflash.com/store/buzzcon08/
With
rare exception, the progressive movement does not emphasize working
class and union issues. It’s time to change that, and that is why this
conference will be attended by bloggers, workers (union and wanting to
be union), progessives and advocates.
https://www.buzzflash.com/store/buzzcon08/
It’s
time for us to begin that discussion, and for progressives to sit down
with laborers and union members, to discuss class issues, even if our
politicians won’t.
Listen, Learn, Debate, and help start a long-term dialogue that will bring the working class and the progressives together to advocate for common agendas.
Let it begin in Philadelphia on September 27th: https://www.buzzflash.com/store/buzzcon08/
BuzzFlash
and the co-sponsors of the conference are committed to breaking open
the closet door of class inequities for the long-term, are you?

Saturday, October 18 :
“Not In Our Name” – Exposing Bush’s Crimes Against Humanity
When : 11AM – 5PM
Where : Malcolm X Park , 52nd and Pine St, Philadelphia
Why: To assemble local, regional, and national organizations to create an enlightening and educational day, an Impeachment /Accountability expo.
Goals of this event:
1) educate the public on the Bush administration crimes, and their lasting ramifications to our rights, plus the need for Congress to push for an 11th hour impeachment.
2) In addition, give people of Philadelphia, the opportunity to sign the petition in support of the Resolution before the Philadelphia City Council.
Hosted by:
PDA/DFA Progressive Democracy South Jersey and Philly World Can’t Wait
ProgressiveDemocracySoJersey@gmail.com. philly@worldcantwait.org
The theme/focus, of the event, is for participating activist organizations to depict certain Articles of the Resolution presented by Dennis Kucinich on June 9, 2008 on the floor of Congress, as a detailed explanation of the action/crime spelled out in that resolution ,and what resulted from that crime, and its long-lasting effect on our democracy.
For other groups who do not support impeachment, we would like for them to use their table to display materials expressing their issues of concern, reflecting the pain the Bush administration has caused over the past 8 years to their cause.
If your group or organization chooses to participate, your organization’s name will be added to our brochure.
To reserve a space for your organization at Not in Our Name call 856-873-3260 or email ProgressiveDemocracySoJersey@gmail.com. Space is granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Participating Organization Booth 10 x 10 Booth with discount (for agreeing to illustrate
10 x 10 one of the 35 Articles of Impeachment)
