The Democratic Party of Orange County is growing like never before!
Currently there are 17 chartered democratic clubs in Orange County.
The Democratic Party of Orange County and the California Democratic
Council will be hosting a training for activists that want to take
leadership roles in local clubs or who want to just get started!
We'll have workshops on:
How to run a meeting: Robert's Rules of Order
Club Finances: How to stay out of jail
Finding and keeping club members/volunteers
Engaging/reaching out to young Democrats
Using technology to grow your club
Progressive Democrats: Top five issues
Here are the particulars:

Date: Saturday, December 1, 2007
Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Location: Carpenter's Union Hall - 1916 W. Chapman Ave., Orange CA
Cost: Suggested donation of $10.00 to help cover food and materials
Seating is limited, so please RSVP by November 28th to
training@cdc-ca.org or 800-446-9709
Lunch and refreshments will be provide. Again, please RSVP to ensure
that we have adequate food and materials.
As the old saying goes, all politics is local. There has never been a
better time to get involved.
