Get out the vote in PA-09

Hello friends -

The Tony Barr campaign is stepping into high gear for the last two weeks before election day - we are knocking on doors, making phone calls, and planning for election day non-stop.

Imagine the impact that our campaign can have on the 9th district - a win would change the face of local politics forever. It would mean the end of single-party domination here. At the very least, increased Democratic voter turnout and performance this year will smooth the path for Democratic candidates from here on out, by providing hard numbers and evidence that Democrats can win here.

The question is simply, how badly do we want to see these changes in our own backyard?

We've already had unprecedented grassroots volunteerism here in Blair County, as well as in Bedford, Fulton, Huntingdon, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana... all 15 counties in the sprawling district. And we've already proven that with a small amount of effort by a lot of individuals, we can make a big impact. Let's finish strong.

There are a few ways you can help:

1. Join us at a canvass in Blair County - our district's population center. Canvassing will continue on October 28th and November 4th from 10AM to 5PM from 320 Allegheny St. in Hollidaysburg.

2. Request a phone list and call voters in the 9th district to ensure they'll be at the polls and voting for Tony on November 7th. Email Liz at liz@tonybarr2006.com to get one.
