Urge both Democratic candidates for governor to sign the Positive Campaign Pledge: www.signthepositivepetition.com...California voters deserve a positive debate in this very important race for governor. In addition, California Democrats' best chance to retake the Governor's Office in 2006 is to make sure both candidates run positive, issues-based campaigns.

THE PLEDGE
I pledge not to be the first candidate in this primary campaign to initiate any paid advertising that attacks the other candidate by name. I will run a campaign that takes the high road of ideas, rather than the low road of attacks. I believe my vision for the future of California is the most compelling campaign message I can offer and will not be the first to go negative.
