Where are the Progressives?

I just looked over some of the Congressional and State races and was shocked to see so many Republicans going unchallenged. What's happened to the Democratic party? And then look at the Democratic candidates? Where are all the progressives? Too many of these Democrats aren't very good, just in politics to be a politician. Fortunately, they're not as bad as the Republicans.

Where are the candidates who are going to stand up and say,
"Repeal NAFTA and GATT!"
"Rich people, pay your fair share in taxes!"
"Stop leaving my kids in debt!"
"WHere's the accountabilty in Iraq?"
"Get the corporations out of politics!"
"Demand clean elections"
"Demand fuel economy standards!"
"Stop polluting the air that I breathe, and the land and water where I play, fish, hunt, etc."

I could go on, but I've got to go work hard to make someone else rich.
