So Far, So Good!
Linked to groups: Elmbrook Progressive Coalition
We've had three meetings of the Elmbrook Progressive Coalition so far, and that's given us a chance to meet with three incredible candidates: Bryan Kennedy, Sterling Lynk, and Jim Sullivan. We're going to be lit dropping for Bryan Kennedy this weekend, and several of our members are already planning to take the day off on Election Day to help Get Out The Vote.
I'm seeing some interesting signs here in Brookfield -- literally. There are at least 5-6 Bryan Kennedy yard signs for every one that I see for Sensenbrenner. I'm seeing Doyle signs, Fair Wisconsin signs and an incredible number of Jim Sullivan signs.
This is all a good start.
But let's face it. We live in one of the most heavily Republican enclaves in the state, and that's not going to change overnight. But change is what we're all about. We're going to change the political climate here in Waukesha County -- one neighborhood and one voter at a time.
If you like in Brookfield, Elm Grove or nearby, stop in and see us sometime.
