Ragin Cajun should be sent back to his swamp.

Credentials first:  Former Carter-Mondale staff 1976,  Had a great time at the Clinton Gore Inaugural Gala in 1992.  Ran various campaigns including IL - 18th CD agains U.S. Rep Bob Michel 1982.  Supported Howard Dean for DNC Chairman.

James Carville is doing no one any good by getting his face on television in opposition to Sen. Obama.  While those who think Sen. Obama would win in a "face off" with Mr. Carville, his attacks do not even benefit the candidate he supports.  Sen. Clinton needs to cage her Ragin' Cajun until she owns the nomination.  His kind of rhetoric, while it amuses, does nothing strategically to help her candidacy.

Look at the Republican stumble over the attacks on Rev. Wright.  Those attacks gave Sen. Obama an opportunity to give America one of the most inspiring speeches I've heard recently.  Is that an uninteded consequence of the Republican strategy to discredit Sen. Obama.  It sure looked like that to me.  Blowback indeed!

Alienation of the opposition should be witheld until we are on the battlefield for the White House against the Republican candidate.  It does not benefit us to have this kind of sarcastic and belittling commentary happening in the most contested presidential primary in recent memory.  A divisive primary virtually always benefit the other party.

Can  we please pull back on these General Election tactics until we are actually in a D vs. R campaign and keep our eyes on the prize that will benefit everyone?
