League of Young Voters PAC endorses Rendell, Roberts & Pennacchio in Pennsylvania



Pittsburgh, PA - May 5th, 2006

On Thursday May 4th, 2006, The League of Young Voters PAC held their primary 2006 election endorsement meeting for the Pennsylvania primary. Invited to speak were candidates running for U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, PA Governor, PA Lt. Governor, PA State Senate and PA State House.

Numerous candidates were present including: The Honorable State Representative Don Walko (20th House District), Lisa Bennington (21st House District), Mark Purcell (20th House District), The Honorable Recorder of Deeds Valerie McDonald-Roberts (PA Lt. Governor), Susan Banahasky (20th House District), Edward Gainey (24th House District), Chelsa Wagner (22nd House District), Mike Isaac (14th Congressional District) and The Honorable State Representative Joe Preston (24th House District). Representatives spoke on the behalf of Georgia Berner (4th Congressional District), Rick Santorum (U.S. Senator), Chuck Pennacchio (U.S. Senator) and The Honorable Congressman Mike Doyle (14th Congressional District).

After an extensive discussion on the merits of all candidates appearing on the May 16th primary ballot, our membership voted on which candidates they would endorse.


The League of Young Voters PAC endorses the following candidates:
