Momentum

24 Days to go and things are looking good...very good. Here are just a few reasons why:

IN 02 - Joe Donnelly still has a lead over Count Chocola in almost every credible poll. The leads are beyond the margins of error (MOE) but recent polls show that the Count is beginning to close the gap. Remember, the Count has about a huge money advantage over Joe. A fact that is painfully obvious when you are out at the campaign office.

IN 08 - Jeff Hostettler (R) is sinking like a lead balloon. A recent poll among REGISTERED voters has Brad Ellsworth up by over 20 points. I woldn't be surprised to see the NRCC (National Repubs) pull the plug on Hostettler soon.

IN 09 - Baron Hill has a small but consistent lead over Sodrel.

In Illinois, Tammy Duckworth is holding her own, its a toss up, in a strong Repub district. Melissa Bean has a slight edge.

In the US Senate, who would have thought that we would be talking about a majority. It is looking like Dems will pick up seats in RI, MT, PA, and OH with a great chance in TN. MO is still up in the air but may be breaking our way and VA is still on the board. But even with a majority, we may not have control. That depends on what Joe Leiberman and the race in CT.
