Bush Fundraising Event Yesterday - Sep 25

After receiving Lynn's email via the Hamilton County Dems, Sara and I made signs and headed for Stephan Field to assemble at 5. Unfortunately for us, the police had closed off Kenwood Road, Drake Road and any other way into the area by about 4:30. We circled until 5, and couldn't get there. I guess next time, we should assemble two hours before the event.

Question: Who pays for Mr. Bush's fund raising trips? The police presence alone, not to mention the economic cost of blocking off I-75, the Norwood Lateral and I 71 plus several streets, must be considerable.

Is the payor the GOP, or does the bill go to us taxpayers? If taxpayers pay for it, this is a forced contribution to the wrong side.
