...our Constitutional rights or your election? You promise CHANGE; but so far I see none! You are mired in the same old political games the two 'major' parties have played for years.

The American people are not entirely stupid! If the opposition tries to paint you as 'soft on terrorism', you'll just have to EXPLAIN to voters the Constitutional argument supporting a vote against this 'compromise' legislation.

You are a Constitutional lawyer after all. Surely you can argue the case for defeating this legislation. Do you not trust your ability to persuade people of the Truth? ...Or do you not trust the ability of 'We The People' to understand a well-articulated argument?

If you vote FOR this 'compromise' bill, your vote will belie your promises for change. Do the right thing...or you'll not get MY vote in November. I will not squander my vote on a "Lesser Evil". Leadership takes courage, not calculation! There are candidates who understand that fact.
