CONTINUING SUPPORT FOR SB840 (kUEHL)

Greetings!

I'm sorry that I can't attend the meeting this evening due to another commitment. However, I wanted to let you know the following about the Single-Payer Universal Health Care bill, which was passed by the legislature last week.

Continuing support is needed for this Bill. The Governor has 30 days after receiving the Chaptered Bill to sign it, veto it or let it pass without his signature. As of yesterday afternoon, he had not received it.

His Op-Ed in the San Diego Union Tribune was his first volley to the oppposition. It is full of untruths and shows what "dum-dums" he thinks we are.

So please take action by contacting the Governor, and encourage others in your network to do the same. It's a very important contribution to the political process. We are receiving more press coverage, and less biased press coverage than I had ever thought possible.
